Out of Hours Play Leader - Holy Trinity CE Academy Rothwell

 

Salary:  Actual Salary £7878

20 hours per week, Monday to Friday

8.00 - 9.00am, 3.00 - 6.00pm

Hours will be agreed to suit Trust requirements.  (You may be required

to undertake occasional work at functions outside of these core hours).

 

Abbey Multi-Academy is looking to appoint an individual with

experience, energy and enthusiasm to manage its play club in Rothwell

to the highest possible standard. The post holder will be responsible for

planning and preparing a programme of activities, managing and

leading a team of staff and taking responsibility for all relevant paperwork and administration.  The post holder will also develop, implement and review the policies, procedures and practices within the provision and take a lead role in the promotion of the club in the local area.

 

Holy Trinity CE Academy, Rothwell has dedicated staff and wonderful children who take pride in their school. They are looking for an out of hours play leader who is creative and able to articulate and support the Christian ethos and values of the Academy. The candidate must have good communication and organisational skills and a commitment to high quality childcare. The candidate must also be able to work well as part of a team and will need to engage with pupils and parents.

The main duties and responsibilities of this post are:

  • To work as part of a team of cleaning staff each being responsible for a specific area.
  • To ensure that the designated area is thoroughly cleaned.
  • Duties to include: general wiping down, vacuuming, polishing, glass cleaning, mopping, emptying and relining waste bins and other general cleaning tasks.
  • Occasional assistance with general maintenance, as directed by the Superintendent.
