The governors of St.Chad’s CE Primary School are seeking to recruit a committed Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant.   We have very high expectations of our pupils’ behavior and this is underpinned by our caring, sharing Christian ethos.

 

We wish to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to work 7.5 hours per week term time only.  The successful applicant will work within a team of assistants taking care of the children at lunchtime in the dining hall and on the playground, playing games, helping with first aid and ensuring that pupils have an enjoyable dining experience.

 

There may be a requirement to work outside of the designated hours to respond to the school’s needs.  We are able to offer staff a secure and supportive environment with continuous professional development.

The post holder will be responsible for planning and preparing a programme of activities, managing and leading a team of staff and taking responsibility for all relevant paperwork and administration.  The post holder will also develop, implement and review the policies, procedures and practices within the provision and take a lead role in the promotion of the club in the local area.

will hold HLTA status, have previous experience of working in a primary school

setting and will be keen to promote high standards.  You will be supporting the planning and delivery of intervention groups, supervising class visits (including residential visits) as well as covering PPA time and teacher absence.

 

Candidates should be sympathetic to the Christian character of the school.

  • HLTA Qualified
  • The successful candidate must have a GCSE A-C (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths as well as meeting the HLTA Qualification
