We are a proud signatory of The Education Staff Wellbeing Charter.
This is our public commitment to actively promoting mental health and wellbeing through policy and practice. It is a way to show all our current and prospective colleagues that we are dedicated to improving and protecting their wellbeing.
We run regular staff experience and wellbeing surveys to drive out academy and Trust commitments and priorities.
Our wellbeing support provider offers:
We have trained 3 cohorts of Mental Health First Aiders since December 2024. Information is available within each academy.
All our heads/principals are i-act training. This means they have practical tools and guidance to deliver support to someone in distress.
Our Trust is committed to supporting the financial wellbeing of our colleagues and engages with providers to support awareness over pensions and financial planning where appropriate.
