Mark has worked within the education and skills sector for the past eighteen years. He is experienced in leading multi-site business operations, setting strategic direction and being part of and supporting leadership teams.
Prior to working in this sector, Mark served in the British Army in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Over a long career he served across the world, including time in Canada, Europe, Central America, the Middle East as well as in the UK and Northern Ireland.
Mark is keen to ensure that the education sector seizes the opportunities that present themselves but also recognises the significant challenges the sector continues to face. He is a keen motorcyclist and enjoys visiting places of historic interest.
